Spectrum Football Needs Sponsors!

Spectrum Thunder Football is making a comeback! But isn’t just returning - it’s fighting to survive.

After a five-year hiatus, we are one of only three high school football teams still operating on Southern Vancouver Island. That should set off alarms. Programs are folding, opportunities for young athletes are disappearing, and if we don’t act now, a generation of kids will be left idle at a critical stage in their development.
 

Football gives these students more than a jersey. It offers them structure, resilience, teamwork, brotherhood and belonging at a time when they need it most. But rebuilding a program after years on the sidelines takes more than passion - it takes resources. Equipment, uniforms, travel, food, and field costs: none of it is covered by school budgets.
 

Without community support through sponsorships and donations, Spectrum Thunder cannot stay on the field for long. With community support, we can not only keep this program alive, but help ensure that high school football itself continues to have a future at Spectrum Community School, and on Vancouver Island.
